The Golf de Valescure was created in 1895 by Lord Ashcomb, among a pine forest. It's the oldest course in the Var and the fith in France. With 5005 meters long and par 68, Valescure golf course's conception is close to a typical british course. It presents several relatively short holes, which, at first sight, can make it seem easy to play. This impression is wrong because the narrowness of the fairway, the difficult roughs, the water obstacles and the rather small greens, impose a constant thought to the player about his choice of clubs.
It is often necessary to choose precision instead of distance.
